  • Email address: Collected during account registration and for service communications.
  • Basic usage data and logs: Information about how you interact with the service, including access logs, error logs, and general usage patterns.
  • Account information: Information associated with your account, such as account settings and preferences.
  • Submitted content: Text, URLs, or documents you submit to generate a quiz. This content is processed to generate quiz questions; the original file (e.g. an uploaded PDF) is not persisted, and only the resulting quiz content and assessment results are stored.

Only submit content you are authorized to use for this purpose.

3. Purpose of Use

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • Service operation and maintenance
  • Customer support and communication
  • Billing and payment processing
  • Service improvement and optimization
  • Security and fraud prevention

4. Third-Party Processors

We use the following third-party service providers to process information:

  • Google Cloud (Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform): Processes content you submit (see "Submitted content" above) to generate quiz questions. Under Google Cloud's terms, this content is not used to train Google's models without permission; it may otherwise be retained for a limited period for abuse monitoring or caching under Google's applicable policies.
  • Google Sign-In: Account authentication. Google Sign-In is currently the only supported way to sign in.
  • Paddle: Payment processing and billing. As our Merchant of Record, Paddle's privacy policy applies to payment-related data and personal information required for transactions.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers: Application hosting, database hosting, and transactional email delivery. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.

We only share information necessary for these providers to perform their services and require them to protect your information in accordance with this policy.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymize it in accordance with our data retention policies.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure.
